<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a main body of CD-ROM drive in respect to the CD- ROM drive incorporated in a note type personal computer. CONSTITUTION:The CD-ROM drive 30 is constituted in such a manner that a turntable 33, optical head 35, driving mechanism 38 for optical head, or the like are provided in the main body 32 of CD-ROM drive, and it is incorporated in the note type personal computer 31 so as capable of going in/out from the side surface thereof. The optical head 35 is moved in the distance capable of reproducing a 12cm CD-ROM 21. The main body 32 of CD-ROM drive is constituted so as to have the width dimension W1, corresponding to an 8cm CD-ROM 20.</p> |
