Process involves crushing the fresh shells, pressing out the fluid and passing the residue through a scrubber fitted with brushes. All slime components are removed and the remainder can be dried to crumb consistency. Rabbits or other small animals can be fed the crumb product alone or as an additive or the crumbs may be mixed with fluid or fat as available or convenient. |
