PURPOSE:To provide a reversible heat sensitive recording medium wherein clarifying temperature range is extended to a low temperature and adhesion of the heat sensitive recording layer to a base or a protective layer or a printing layer is improved, by providing a heat sensitive recording layer formed of paints constituted of a resin matrix, higher aliphatic acid, specific polymeric organic resin and a solvent. CONSTITUTION:In a reversible heat recording medium, a magnetic layer 2, smooth layer 3, metallic vapor decomposition layer 4, heat sensitive recording layer 5 and heat-resistant protective layer 6 are formed on one surface of a base 1 in this order. In addition, a printing layer 7 forming an arbitrary visual symbol or pattern may be provided between the heat sensitive recording layer 5 and protective layer 6 or on the protective layer 6 at need. Then the heat sensitive recording layer 5 is formed by making use of paints constituted of a resin matrix, higher aliphatic acid, polymeric organic resin having the glass transition temperature lower than the glass transition temperature of the resin matrix and a solvent to the higher aliphatic acid. |
