PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide mountain climbers even in the nighttime and to prevent accidents and personal disasters without laying power source cable by accumulating the electric power obtd. by solar battery panels and releasing the accumulated electric power to allow guide devices to emit light when prescribed conditions are established. SOLUTION: The sunshine is received by the solar battery panels 4 in the daytime when there is the sunshine. While the storage batteries of a power source devices 7 are charged, the contents described on the respective guide boards 8 are shown to the mounting climbers arriving at the branch points of walking routes, etc., to allow the mountain climbers to select the walking routes, etc. When the sun sets afterward and the sunshine is no more received by the solar battery panels 4, the electric power is released from the storage batteries by the control circuits of the power source devices 7 to supply the electric power to the respective guide boards 8 and to light these boards. As a result, even at nighttime the contents stated on the respective guide boards 8 are made recognizable by the mountain climbers existing near the mountain climbing signs 1 to guide the mountain climbers up to a destination.
