The insulating cold frame consists of a series of frames (2,3,4,5), each formed with an upper (7) and lower (8) section and two side sections (9,10), assembled together by their side sections to form the rectangular perimeter of the frame. A fifth frame is added to form a cover (6) and the four sections, forming the cover frame, are located on the upper sections of the side frames. The five frames are covered with a flexible plastic film (25) on each of the faces, to form a double skin insulating wall.
