<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure storage sections incorporating temperature protective elements at a base section without changing the size and to provide an external appearance not impairing a product value. SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp is provided with a fluorescent tube having electrode seal sections at both end sections and a base section 4. The base section 4 made of a synthetic resin is fixed to the fluorescent tube by a silicon adhesive. The base section 4 is provided with space sections 26, 27 storing electrode seal sections and storage sections 20, 21 for storing temperature protective elements 16, 17 provided near the electrode seal sections. A support member for fixing the temperature protective elements 16, 17 in the storage sections 20, 21 is provided between the storage section 20, 21 and the space sections 26, 27. A gap is provided between the space sections 26, 27 and the support member.</p> |
