<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To similarly supply power to a peripheral device, to which power can be supplied from the main body of a computer through a cable, even at the time of not connecting to the computer. SOLUTION: A power supply line from a power source 210 can be connected through a power source jack 212 to a connector connected on the side of the computer. When there is no connection to the computer side, this adapter can be connected to the peripheral device while keeping the same shape as a connector 204 on the side of the peripheral device, accepts the power source jack 212 and supplies power to the peripheral device. In this case, this adapter has compatibility with the connector 204 but a signal pin, which is not related with power supply, is not connected.</p> |
