PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator with a large power generating capacity, while a high electromotive force is secured without reducing a magnetic flux changing speed within a small limited volume. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 8 is turned into a multipole permanent magnet by magnetization or by a rotor yoke 3, and a mechanical speed increase rate by a ring row is reduced to suppress a force applied between a rotor 13 and a stator so as not to be a braking force which obstructs the motion of a rotary weight. Further, by using a high efficiency generator, a portable electronic apparatus represented by an electronic wrist watch can be provided.
