PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacture of a plurality of arrays of wide TAB(tape automated bonding) tapes applicable to existing production lines in the manufacture of the plurality of wide TAB tapes increasing the manufacturing capacity thereof. SOLUTION: After pressing out a base film tape with a width which is a plural multiple of a desired TAB tape width, one sheet of copper foil with a width which is a plural multiple of the desired width is laminated. The same TAB tape manufacturing process as that of the conventional TAB tape is applied to this step so as to manufacture a plurality of wide width TAB tapes. Next, these tapes are slit to manufacture a plurality of TAB tapes in a specific width. In such a plurality of arrays of wide width TAB tapes, the steps up to the slitting step are similar to those of the conventional TAB tape manufacturing process so that the existing manufacturing lines may be applicable without changing them at all thereby enabling the wide width a plurality of arrays of TAB tapes to be manufactured.
