PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple and exact presumption of a corrosion generation danger regarding a metal piece contacted with water by measuring a short current of the metal piece subjected to sensitization contacted with water and a metal piece made of the same material which has not been subjected to sensitization. SOLUTION: A metal piece 1 contacted with an aqueous test solution, electrically insulated from the surroundings and being subjected to sensitization and a metal piece 2 contacted with an aqueous test solution, electrically insulated from the surroundings and which has not been subjected to sensitization are connected by a conductor and a current flowing in the conductor is measured. For example, an unresisted voltmeter 4 is used for a measuring method of the current. A metal material used for the metal piece 1 and the metal piece 2 are the same material, and a corrosion sensitivity is enhanced by making a size of the metal piece 2 larger than that of the metal piece 1.
