PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a limited frequency band by using frequency channels adjacent to one another for communication in different sectors. SOLUTION: By using frequency channels 201 adjacent to one another to be used for communication in a cell for communication in different sectors A to D, the number of frequency channels in the cell is increased by the same frequency band as conventionally. In a radio communication system, the frequency channels 201 conventionally constituted in the sector A and the sector B respectively are arranged in the sector A, and the sector B every other channel so that the channels 201 adjacent to one another are not arranged in the same sectors A and B. Thus, since the frequency channels adjacent to one another 201 to be used for the communication in the cells are separated spatially, mutual interferences are suppressed and it is possible to put the frequency channels 201 adjacent to one another to be used for the communication in the cells closer than in conventional cases.
