PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reserve a transmission line from a studio to a transmission station by means of a digital transmission line in the analog digital simultaneous broadcast system and to also transmit a control signal for devices installed in the transmission station. SOLUTION: An analog multiplexer 11 of a studio 10 transmits video real time information in the NTSC format and transmits other real time information, non real-time information and a control signal for transmission station devices for a vertical blanking period in addition. A control information demultiplexer 21 and a data demultiplexer 22 demultiplex the control signal, the real time information and the non real-time information from the received signal in the NTSC analog format, encoders 24, 25 convert the demultiplexed real time information and the non real-time information into digital data, a time division data transmitter 26 multiplexes the data, and a digital transmission section transmits the multiplexed data. Furthermore, an analog transmitter 23 transmits the signal in the NTSC analog format sent from the studio.
