PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save manpower and to efficiently execute a series of processing on the collection of application postcards, the retrieval of overlap success in drawing and the preparation of success in drawing informing label/postcard. SOLUTION: Application postcards are sequentially transported from a stacker (S1) and the picture data of individual information on the application postcards are read (S2). Registration numbers are given to the picture data which are read (S3) and the picture data are stored with the registration numbers (S4). A success number is decided from the registration numbers (S6) after an application period terminates (S5). The picture data related to the registration number corresponding to the success number are selected, at least a part of the selected picture data is character-recognized and specified character groups (addresses and names) which are character-recognized are compared to retrieve the presence of absence of overlap success (S7). The picture data related to the registration number corresponding to the success number or at least a part of the character group obtained by character-recognizing the picture data are outputted to paper and a label and a postcard for giving information on the success are prepared.
