PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a highly reliable inverter device, by detecting abnormal signals with a plurality of abnormal detecting means, by judging the details of the abnormalities after letting an inverter circuit take abnormality protective operations, and by processing the abnormalities at high speed in accordance with the details of the abnormalities in an inverter device that drives the motor with the inverter circuit. SOLUTION: An inverter circuit 1 controlled with a control circuit 6 converts the DC power of a rectifier circuit 3 connected to an AC power source into AC power to drive a motor 5. The control circuit 6 controls the inverter circuit 4 with a rotation control circuit 60 which controls the rotation of the motor, stops the output of the inverter circuit 4 by operating an output inhibiting circuit 62 with the output signals of a plurality of abnormality detecting means 63 which detect the abnormality of the inverter circuit 4 or motor 5, and judges the abnormality by adding the output signals of the abnormality detecting means 63 to the rotation control circuit 60. |
