PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an electronic component efficiently at a short tact time by shifting a board recognition camera onto a recognition point in the way of movement, when the recognition point exists in the vicinity of next moving path of a transfer head and then recognizing the recognition point. SOLUTION: A board is carried onto a carrying path and positioned. Recognition marks A, B of first board block for mounting an electronic component for the first time are then recognized. A transfer head is then shifted onto a feeding section and an electronic component 41 to be mounted is picked up from a part feeder containing it and moved above a first camera 10. The electronic component 41 is recognized thereat and then the transfer head is shifted above a board block 31 before mounting the electronic component 41. Subsequently, a decision is made whether a recognition point for detecting the board position of other board block or a recognition point for correcting the mounting position of the electronic component is present or not in the vicinity of a path, through which the transfer head transfers from the mounting position. Marks m1, m2 are recognized by moving a second camera integrally with the transfer head based on a stored data. |
