<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce color filters for color liquid crystal elements which satisfy the required characteristics similar to those of the color filters produced by the conventional production processes and satisfy ink jet adaptability as well by shortened stages. SOLUTION: Resin black matrices 2 are patterned and formed on a light transparent substrate 1 and after a compsn. having aq. ink absorbability is applied over the entire surface of the substrate, the excess compsn. is scraped off by a blade to form compsn. layers 3 only in the apertures of the black matrices 2. Ink is imparted to the compsn. layers 3 by an ink jet recorder 5 to color the compsn. layers 3 and the compsn. layers 3 are cured by a heat treatment, by which the color filter layers 6a to 6c are obtd.</p> |
