PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate image pickup angle-of-view information to image information as well together with image pickup azimuth information and to synthesize a synthetic image at the wide angle of view from plural images based on this information. SOLUTION: Concerning an electronic camera for electronically recording a picked-up image, this camera is provided with an image memory 13 for recording the image pickup azimuth information and image pickup angle-of-view information of the picked-up image while relating them to the image. Further this image memory 13 can record image relation information for mutually relating the plural desired images. Thus, based on the image pickup azimuth information and image pickup angle-of-view information, a CPU 14 mutually synthesizes the images related by the image relation information. |
