PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a sure and real-time warning reduced in the possibility of overlooking by a photographer. SOLUTION: This image pickup equipment is provided with first display parts 1a-1e for superimpose-displaying fixed regions in a photographing visual field frame in a finder, second display parts (1a-1e different from the first display parts) for superimpose-displaying regions different from the fixed regions in an image pickup visual field frame, detecting means (21-26) for detecting the state of an image pickup device, a discriminating means 20 for discriminating whether the image pickup device is in an abnormal state or not, based on the result of the detection by the detecting means and a control means 20 for allowing the first and second display parts to execute warning operations, when it is discriminated that the abnormal state is obtained by the discriminating means 20.
