The tank for containing pressurized liquids consists of an assembly of integral metal elements (21 to 2n) produced by swaging. A base (15,16) is directly mounted on each of the end elements. Each of the elements has the form of a cup and defines an open volume of a particular shape. Each cup comprises a side wall (3) and a base provided with perforations. Each element has a lip (17) in which the base of the adjacent element is engaged.
