PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve economical efficiency and mass-productivity, and facilitate large-area application with a slurry-coat method made applicable, by providing a cellular pore layer between a porous substrate and a dense film, and causing the relation between the amount of gas permeating the porous substrate and the amount of gas permeating that after the provision of the cellular pore layer, and the relation between the pore diameter of the porous substrate and the pore diameter of the cellular pore layer, to each satisfy a specific relation. SOLUTION: In order to obtain a cellular pore layer with small pores, the cellular pore layer is provided between a porous substrate and a dense film. Expression I (where, Q1 is the amount of gas permeating the porous substrate and Q2 is the amount of gas permeating that after the provision of the cellular pore layer) and expression II (where, d1 is the pore diameter of the porous substrate and d2 is the pore diameter of the cellular pore layer) are satisfied. The cellular pore layer, when used for a cell of an SOFC(solid electrolyte-type fuel cell), is caused to be an intermediate layer between an air pole, which is a lanthanum manganite doped with Sr or Ca, or a mixed composition of this and yttria-doped YSZ, and an electrolyte. |
