PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module for optical communication capable of separating and receiving signals of desired wavelength bands of multiplex optical communication with good accuracy. SOLUTION: This module consists of a light emitting element 1 which generates a transmission signal, a condenser lens 4 which couples the transmission signal light from this light emitting element 1 to an optical transmission path, a light receiving element 2 which receives the reception signal light from this optical transmission path and a beam splitter 3 which respectively inclines the reflection surface of a half mirror 31 and the reflection surface of a WDM filter 32 for reflecting the signal of the desired frequency band and allows the transmission of the frequency bands exclusive thereof and is held by a transparent body 33 apart a specified spacing therefrom. The half mirror 31 of the beam splitter 3 exists in the optical path between the light emitting element 1 and the condenser lens 4. The beam splitter 3 is so disposed that the reception signal of the desired wavelength band from the optical transmission path is reflected by the half mirror 31, is further reflected by the WDM filter 32 and is made incident on the light receiving element 2. |
