PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact terminal of an electric connector constituted by a thin metal plate, having thin width, and providing sufficient rigidity when it is driven into a connector housing, and sufficient pressure-contacting force to the other terminal. SOLUTION: This contact terminal 10 is formed from a conductive metal plate by pressing, etc., and one end of it is provided with a prominent contact 11a at the tip to form a contacting part 11 pressure-contacted to a connect terminal of an electrical component, also the other end is a foot part 13 bent in a L-shape and soldered to a printed board, etc. One side of the contacting part 11 of the contact terminal 10 is a bent part 11b having a section bent in a L-shape, which imparts the contacting part 11 with rigidity. The L-shape, a U-shape, or an arc-shape, etc., can be adopted as the bending shape of the section of the contacting part 11 of the contact terminal 10. |
