PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information serving apparatus by which the place of a partner can be grasped without directly asking the place even when the partner is situated in any place. SOLUTION: In an information serving apparatus, when an operator telephones a partner by using a portable telephone 20 so as to be line-connected, the base code of a base station 50 which is the nearest to the place of the partner is input to a car navigation apparatus 10 via the portable telephone 20. When the base code is input to a computer 11 via an input part 15, a data memory 13 in which a data table for position information on the base station 50 and for the base code of the base station 50 is recorded in advance is referred, and the position information on the base station 50 corresponding to the input base code is retrieved. A retrieved result is output so as to be displayed on a display 14 as position information on the partner. |
