PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk video camera apparatus capable of stably recording and reproducing image information even when a disk is warped by Coriolis force developed in the case of turning the disk rotated at high speed. SOLUTION: Since an optical pickup 9 for recording on or reproducing from the inner and outer peripheries of a disk 5 is arranged so that its moving direction can be parallel with an optical axis P of an image pickup lens 2, even when the disk video camera apparatus is turned to right and left or up and down while rotating the disk 5 at high speed, the warp of the disk 5 caused by Coriolis force does not occur. Thus, the angle of a light beam radiated from the optical pickup 9 with respect to the disk 5 is not changed and the image information can be stably recorded.
