PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a button part from the outside and to provide sufficient waterproof effect, by covering electrical components by a soft member add mounting a waterproof pushbutton switch from the inside of equipment. SOLUTION: A printed board 21 of a selector pushbutton switch 13 is placed on a base member 22 of a soft member such as soft vinyl chloride. The base member 22 is joined to the printed board 21 so as to be water-tight and detachable to a cover member 23, and the printed board 21 is waterproofed by the base member 22 and the cover member 23. Two stripes of thin thickness part 25 are provided at a connecting part of the base member 22 and the cover member 23 in order to facilitate bending action. A pushbutton part 26 and a shape holding part 27 having a thin wall trapezoidal cross section are provided on the cover member 26, and if a finger is detached after the button part 26 is pushed, they again returns back to their original positions. An inner rib 31 surrounding the skirt of the shape holding part 27 and an outer rib 32 surrounding the cover member 23 are provided, and the button switch 13 is protected from an impact from the front.
