PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a magnetic head to a desired data track even when a low order floppy disk having no position information regarding data tracks is used. SOLUTION: This disk driving device is provided with a head for recording and/or reproducing a disk recording medium, a carriage having the head mounted thereon, an actuator 103 for transferring the carriage along a guide main axis 114, a coil receiving base 116 for supporting the coil 104 of a linear actuator 103, and a flexible printed circuit board 118 for connecting a printed circuit board attached to the coil 104 supported on the coil receiving base 116 and a chassis 41. The coil receiving base 116 includes a flexible printed circuit board holding part 191 integrally formed for holding the flexible printed circuit board 118 folded roughly perpendicularly along the outer side face of the coil 104 in a state along the outer side face of the coil 104.
