PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection device whose processing time is constant and which can change a block size and the like. SOLUTION: A data collection device, which stores collected data by collecting them into memory blocks for respective events, is provided with an A/D converter 1 for converting an analog signal into digital data, a logic circuit 101 for detecting the generation of the event from an event signal, a data memory circuit 3 divided into a plurality of memory blocks and a memory management means 50 for writing digital data into one selected memory block and switching the selection of the memory block storing digital data with the occurrence of the event.
