PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a variety of response messages to an incoming call without a user uttering. SOLUTION: Plural response messages are registered in a storage device in advance. At the time of call incoming of a telephone, a user can respond without uttering by using this response message. As a method of response, there are a selective machine response which the user selects out of the plural response messages displayed on a display and an automatic machine response which automatically transmits the preset response message in accordance with conditions of the incoming call of the telephone such as other party or a time of call arrival.
