PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and realize manufacture at a low cost by providing a conduit for introducing water taken from a feed water pipe which is connected to a water service pipe or the like to the surface of a heat exchanger side of an outdoor unit, attaching a spray nozzle to the tip of the conduit and arranging an electromagnetic valve between the feed water pipe and the conduit. SOLUTION: A feed water pipe 5 is connected to a water service pipe W, and water at the tap is taken from the feed water pipe 5 so as to be led to an electromagnetic valve 3 in a box 2. When a heat exchanger in an outdoor unit S is driven, the electromagnetic valve 3 permits the water from the feed water pipe 5 to flow to a conduit 6, and when the heat exchanger is stopped, shuts off the water flow to the conduit 6. A spray nozzle 7 is attached to the tip of the conduit 6 and from the spray nozzle 7, the water led from the conduit 6 is injected in the form of spray toward the outdoor unit S, so that the injected spray water is in contact with the heat exchanger. At this occasion, since exchange heat in the heat exchanger is taken away with the evaporation of the spray water, the heat exchanger can be efficiently cooled, thus shortening the driving period of the heat exchanger.
