PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information device system provided with an information registration function while reducing a manufacture cost and power consumption. SOLUTION: When a portable information device 1 is connected to a charger 10 in a chargeable state, signals are transmitted and received between the microcontroller 2 of the portable information device 1 and the microcontroller 11 of a charger 10. Then, under the control of the microcontrollers 2 and 11, an information management operation including a backup processing for storing individual information stored in the storage part 3 of the portable information device 1 as the backup information of a storage part 12 and a restoration processing for storing the backup information stored in the storage part 12 as the individual information of the storage part 3 is automatically performed when charged. |
