NETWORK PROCESSOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSFER OF DATA VIA NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and adaptive network processor which has high throughput by using a 1st processor that decides a method to convert the data for their transmission and a 2nd processor that converts the data by a command of the 1st processor. SOLUTION: A data flow existing between every slider 140.x and its corresponding MAC 130.x is controlled by every corresponding channel 150.x. The channels 150 executes the commands given from a microcontroller 160. In some examples of execution, four channels 150.x are obtained by a single channel circuit which applies a time division multiplex system to execute the functions of these channels. This channel circuit is fast in operation and inexpensive. The channels 150, microcontroller 160, slicers 140 and MACs 130 communicate with each other via a memory 164 which includes an internal memory 170 and other memories.
