PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable flexible and easy scroll in compliance with the operator's will in map display by providing the device with a display moving means for moving the display contents of a bird's-eye map while maintaining a prescribed reduction scale in accordance with the contact detected by a contact detecting means and the movement of this contact. SOLUTION: A display monitor 8 is provided with a touch panel 9 which is the contact detecting means in superposition thereon to allow the detection of the coordinates on this touch panel 9 touched by the fingers, i.e., on the display monitor 8. A control circuit 3 which is the display moving means moves the display contents of the bird's-eye map while maintaining the prescribed reduction scale in accordance with the movement of the contact. Even when the bird's-eye map is displayed on the display monitor 8, the user is able to scroll the map by touching the point on the display monitor 8, i.e., on the touch panel 8 with the finger and in the feel of sliding the displayed bird's-eye map by clamping the map with the finger. |
