PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the network management that solves a fault quickly. SOLUTION: In the case of transmitting a frame from a station 4 to a station 6 being a same virtual LAN group, a repeater 2 adds a virtual LAN identifier to specify a group of the network NA and a reception port to the frame because a sender network NA connects directly to a port, a repeater 3 sends the frame from which the virtual LAN identifier is eliminated to a network NC because a destination network NC directly connects to a port, and a network management device 1 specifies a group of the sender network and a reception port based on the virtual LAN identifier in the frame that is relayed between the repeaters 2, 3 to figure out a fault occurrence point.
