PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the degradation of image quality by the printing of a recognition pattern and to suppress the reduction of a printing speed by the unrequired printing of an individual recognition pattern further. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving printing data (S301), they are taken out for respective processing units and the kinds of data and the number are counted (S307). After the data are developed into images, when the counted number it exceeds a prescribed value, a prescribed recognition pattern is composed with the image (S312) and it is printed (S313). Also, instead of counting the number of objects, a load amount determined for each kind of the objects can be accumulated and it can be compared with a threshold value.
