PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter, by which input/output signal lines are individually connected to a motor control unit having a multi-terminal connector, and through which the motor control unit can be controlled. SOLUTION: This adapter has a multi-terminal connector and is detachably attached to a motor control unit 14. The adapter comprises a circuit board having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a terminal part provided on the first surface of the circuit board, and the multi- terminal connector provided on the second surface of the circuit board. The multi-terminal connector of the adapter can be directly engaged with a multi- terminal connector of the control unit 14.
