PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection apparatus for a secondary battery, by which the safety of an inspection facility and the reliability of a characteristic are ensured. SOLUTION: A thermistor 19 is built in the tip of at least one out of probes 6 on both poles, which are brought into pressure contact with both surface poles of a plurality of secondary betteries 1 placed on a tray. While the secondary batteries 1 are being charged and discharged, a voltage and a current are measured individually. Meanwhile, since the thermistor 19 is set on the surface of each secondary battery 1, heat generated from every secondary battery 1 can be measured accurately. As compared with a conventional method in which an atmosphere temperature is measured, the effects of a temperature is found surely, and abnormalities due to overheating can be diagnosed at an early stage. In addition, the characteristic of a charging operation and a discharge operation with reference to a temperature is found, and the adaptability of the use of an inspection apparatus can be distinguished. |
