PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stationary induction electric unit fitted with metal fittings for easy magnetic shielding of stable quality which facilitates welding. SOLUTION: The stationary induction electric unit which is fitted with a magnetic shield in a tank main body is constituted with a unit having metal fittings 1 for magnetic shields welded to a steel plate 5 in advance and being welded to the internal surface of the tank main body. The metal fittings 1 are welded not directly to the tank internal surface of the tank, but onto the flat steel plate 5 which is free of welding deformation, so the steel plate 5 and the metal fittings 1 are brought into contact without any gap and there is not the possibility of a fusion drop even when the metal fittings 1 are thin in plate thickness, so that the welding is facilitated. The steel plate 5 has its outer peripheral part welded to the tank internal surface, but the plate thickness can be made less than that of the metal fittings 1 and it can easily be welded.
