PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an object which is reducible in code size or execution time. SOLUTION: This object generating device, when translating a high-level language to machine instructions compares the efficiency, when the addresses of variables are represented by all the addresses with that, when the value of a base pointer as the address of a base point is held in a register and the addresses are represented as relative values from the value of the register and generates an object adopting the representation of higher efficiency according to the comparison result.
