PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact and inexpensive water quality meter by collecting and analyzing, measuring a sample intermittently according to a built-in timer or a command from the outside. SOLUTION: A sample 51 to be measured enters analysis parts 15-17 via a pressure-reducing valve 52 and a filter 53, is mixed and reacted with reagents 60-62 supplied by pumps 57-79 at the analysis parts 15-17, and is measured optically or electrically. The result is fetched in as an electrical signal into a signal-processing, controlling part 54. The signal-processing, control part 54 carries out a predetermined signal-processing, calculates a measured value and outputs as a transmission signal to an outputting, transmitting part 19. The signal is finally emitted as a radio wave signal to the air from an antenna 25. A power source of a source par 20 which drives these devices is supplied from a battery 56, that is converted into a voltage necessary at each part and distributed by a source control part 55. A waste liquid after the analysis is collected together to a waste liquid collection part 63. Water quality can be measured at several points with the same budget.
