PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set which can increase the number of register data by improving use efficiency of a memory and does not need much time for retrieval of the register data. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 of a portable telephone set 10 performs management of a flash ROM 4B and efficiently manages three management areas, a directory block 21, a selector management block 22 and a sector block 23, a memory 4. Also, a check sum is written on telephone directory data to be managed and a time spent for telephone number collation at the time of call incoming is reduced. |
