摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide control equipment of a hybrid electric vehicle which can realize further improvements in fuel consumption. SOLUTION: Information related to the total efficiency (fuel consumption coefficient me) of a hybrid engine (engine, power transferring means, power storing means) is calculated (S206). An engine working-point in which the fuel consumption coefficient me becomes optimum is obtained (S208-S214). The engine is operated at an obtained engine working-point. Thereby the total efficiency of the hybrid engine can be made optimum in the whole operation region, as compared with the conventional hybrid engine control, in which the engine working-point is so set that the engine efficiency can be made optimum. Thus further improvements in fuel consumption can be realized.
