FIXING STRUCTURE FOR BRACKET IN HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a bracket in a heat exchanger in which an assembly is simple and a manufacturing cost can be lowered. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger 1, a side channel 10 having a pair of rising pieces 11 rising outward from sides are mounted on the outer side end part of each of corrugated fins 4 provided in the outer side surface of each of heat exchanging pipes 3 located in an end side. An upper bracket 10 fixed to the heat exchanger 1 is provided with caulking pieces 24 with which the outside surfaces of the rising pieces 11 of the side channel 10 and a fixing and bearing part 25 which faces the caulking pieces 24 and holds and secures the rising pieces 11 in cooperation with the caulking pieces 24. Thus, the cauling pieces 24 are caulked inward so that the rising pieces 11 of the side channel 10 can be held and temporarily fixed between the caulking pieces 24 and the fixing and bearing part 25.
