PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optically couple an optical semiconductor element and optical fiber with high efficiency by executing the position regulation of an aspherical lens with rapid and easy work without using special equipment. SOLUTION: A silicon substrate 4 has two V-grooves 5, 55. The outer periphery surface 15 of the aspherical lens 3 is formed by chamfering 18 at approximately the same angle with the forming angle of the slopes 27 of the V-groove 55 in such a manner hat the outer peripheral surface 15 of the aspherical lens 3 comes into linear contact with at least four points with the one V-groove 55 of the two V-grooves 5, 55 and the aspherical lens is directly fixed to the V-grooves 5, 55. |
