PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize an energy beam irradiated for fusing a fuse and to reduce a circuit area, by making the width of a fuse body wider than at least one of fuse connecting terminals. SOLUTION: A fuse 10 is equipped with a fuse body 10 wider than at least one of connecting terminals 12, and electrically connect adjacent conducive wires 13 and 14 to a circuit element underneath. A radiation energy beam 16 cuts off the fuse, and a beam having a larger spot size 15 than the fuse body 11 is oriented in order to cut off electrical connection. The fuse body 11 has a round shape, is wider than the fuse terminal 12, and can catch the maximum amount of energy added to the radiation energy beam 16. Since energy caught increases, a total quantity of energy applied required to fuse the fuse can be reduced. |
