PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide all of a lower beam function, an upper beam function and a fog lamp function at a low cost, by passing or deflecting light from a light source through one or more reflector segments and/or passing the light from the light source through a means to deflect it onto a road surface in front as a fog lamp by a switching device corresponding to designated illuminating functions. SOLUTION: In order to generate a lower beam, light from a light source is reflected by reflector segments 3a, 3b, is guided through a shade 6 and is projected onto the road surface in front. The lower beam is supplemented by light reflected by a reflector segment 3c after coming out of the light source for an upper beam function. The switching device passes the light from the light source toward the reflector segment 3c. The lower beam is supplemented by light reflected by a reflector segment 3d for a fog lamp function, and the switching device passes the light from the light source toward the segment 3d.
