<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate a paintbrush and a writing brush having reality by generating and storing a shape whose thickening extent from the base to the tip is determined by an increment in stroke pressure and drawing the stored shape. SOLUTION: (n) Kinds of source shape are stored in source shape storage parts 12-1 to 12-n. A selector 14 selects two kinds (selected according to stroke pressure) out of the (n) kinds of source shape according to the kind of a drawing tool in use and supplies them to an interpolating process part 16, and the two kinds of source shape are interpolated with, for example, the stroke pressure and outputted. In this case, a shape address is generated so as to deform the two shapes before interpolation by the interpolating process part 16 according to a pen touch vector, and address conversion is performed by a deformation address generation part 20 to read out it. Then the deformed shape after a blurring process which is performed at need is inputted to a multiplication part 24 and multiplied by a density value stored in a density storage part 28 of a pen layer storage part 25 for mixing and interpolation, and the result is written back to the density storage part 28.</p> |
