摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved electric circuit for simultaneously and uniformly energizing a pair of CCFLs with an electric energy supplied from one transformer at least. SOLUTION: This electric circuit is provided with first and second CCFLs 32a and 32b serially connected while respectively having a certain discharge breakdown (discharge starting) voltage, a transformer having a primary winding wire 24 to receive an alternating current(AC) and a secondary winding wire 28 connected to the serially connected first and second CCFLs 32a and 32b so as to supply a current for energizing the operation of both the serially connected first and second CCFLs 32a and 32b, a shunt capacitor 36 parallelly connected over the first CCFL 32a, with which a voltage generated by the secondary winding wire 28 and impressed to the serially connected first and second CCLFs 32a and 32b is significantly lower than the discharge starting voltage of the serially connected first and second CCFLs 32a and 32b.
