PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the electrooptic device which can have its display quality improved by enhancing the precision of the gap size between a counter substrate and a substrate for the electrooptic device by improving the sticking structure between a lens array substrate on the side of the counter substrate and a thin plate covering it. SOLUTION: A counter substrate 20 of this liquid crystal device has a lens array substrate LA having a step part LD formed in an area overlapping the formation area of a seal material 52 to have the height equal to that of microlenses L and a thin-plate glass 49 stuck on the lens array substrate LA with an adhesive 48. In the area overlapping the formation area of the seal material 52, the lens array substrate LA and thin-plate glass 49 are stuck together with a thin layer of the adhesive 48, so that the counter substrate 20 and liquid crystal device substrate 30 are stuck together through a gap of high size precision without any trouble. |
