PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the automatic main distributing frame MDF by which a large scale network is realized with a simple configuration with satisfactory workability. SOLUTION: An aggregate matrix board 13 containing two matrix boards 12, including matrix switches is used for one unit of a switch. There of the aggregate matrix boards 13, connected longitudinally are placed side by side and a robot 14, is placed among them. By providing many robots 14, switching operation is quickened. The robots 14 are controlled by a control circuit, and a power supply RMC/POW 11. I/O cables connecting from the MDF to an exchange or lines are placed at the backside of the MDF. A BWB consisting of printed circuit boards to interconnect the aggregate matrix boards by devising the arrangement of primary to tertiary switches in a 3-stage switch configuration. |
