PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable side-pin correction and horizontal linearity correction on the deflection circuit side even in the case of using a projection tube provided with a convex curvature on a fluorescent screen by continuously changing an S-shape correction amount within a vertical period. SOLUTION: In this horizontal deflection circuit, a switch means 28 for switching the capacitance of an S-shape correction capacitor 22 is turned on/off within a horizontal period. At the time, by controlling (92) an on/off period within one horizontal period, the S-shape correction amount is equivalently changed in each horizontal period and thus, the S-shape correction amount is continuously changed within a vertical period. |
